Now that Bill Cosby has been released from prison, it looks like he is trying to get right back to work.
According to TMZ, Cosby’s rep Andrew Wyatt revealed that he is currently working on a five-part docuseries that will cover everything from his life, legacy, trial for sexual assault, and also his time locked up behind bars. So far, interviews for the project have already begun and producers have started to collect interviews from family, friends, and peers.
However, that is not all. Now that he’s out, Cosby is trying to be outside. He reportedly is trying to jump completely back into comedy and launch a new comedy tour. Wyatt reportedly told the site, “The world wants to see Mr. Cosby.” His team has reportedly been in contact with different clubs and promoters that have shown interest in the idea.
The site reports that Bill’s interest doesn’t stop there. They are also reporting that he reportedly has an interest in visiting prisons, schools, and neighborhoods to talk to people about decreasing violence and bettering themselves. His rep stated that he became inspired after hearing the stories of other inmates while he was serving his time.
As we previously reported, Cosby was released last week after a Pennsylvania Supreme Court ruled that he did not receive a fair trial. The court vacated his conviction after his team filed an appeal last December arguing that his entire life was put on trial, causing him to suffer “unquantifiable prejudice.”
Since his release, Cosby has received mixed reactions about his freedom.
