Whew, chile! Roommates, I know ya’ll remember the cheating scandal that popped off last year with Minnesota Timberwolves basketball player Malik Beasley. It all started after he was spotted with Larsa Pippen, and it was uncovered that he had stepped out on his estranged wife Montana Yao, who he claimed he was separated from. Not only was he creepin’ with Larsa, but Malik was also dealing with another woman who exposed him on the ‘gram. Shortly after, Montana announced she was filing for divorce. While it seems like the situation has died down, Malik shared a lengthy apology to Montana and their son, and she responded.
Montana broke her silence in her response. She wrote, “Makai and I do appreciate Malik’s apology. It’s hard to own up to bad decisions and apologize, especially publicly, so it is really appreciated.” She continued mentioning that her son will be able to look at the apology when he gets older and that this will be a step toward healing. In addition, she mentioned that she wants Malik to be a part of their son’s life because he deserves a father.
As we reported earlier in the day, Malik shared a lengthy apology on the gram. He shared a photo of him and Montana after she gave birth to their son. He wrote, “I wanna say sorry for putting you in the situation you were put in the last few months… My head wasn’t where it was supposed to be… I was looking for more when it was right here that whole time..” He continued, “I’m telling the world and you that there’s nobody like you for me.. for the record, I was the one who ended my last relationship of the fact that there is no one like you ..”
Roommates, what yall think about this?
