Rapper YFN Lucci finally dropped his mixtape “Wish Me Well 3,” which is the third install from this mixtape series. He teased the project all week on his Instagram by dropping photos and videos to give fans an idea of what they can expect. On Monday, November 30th, he shared a snippet of a song with the caption “Wish Me Well 3, Me Against The World, December 4th this Friday.”
In preparation for his seventh mixtape, Lucci shared a photo remake of the late Tupac Shakur with the caption, “I got nothing to lose; it’s just me against the world.” It only makes sense to pay homage to a legendary rapper if you use one of their most notable albums.
The mixtape has 21 songs and some great features. Rick Ross, Mulatto, Yo Gotti, Mozzy, Layton Greene, and more brought the heat alongside Lucci.
Mulatto and Lucci previously released the remix to “Wet” during the summer in July and had everyone bopping to it. It stayed on the Billboard Hot 100 chart for 14 weeks. Lucci spoke about collaborating with artists and told Complex back in August that he loves collaborating with others and has no problem reaching out to artists who he wants to work with through the DMs on social media.
Today he released his video for “Both Of Us,” featuring Rick Ross and Layton Greene. The song, which was produced by Hitmaka, samples Bow Wow and Ciara’s “Like You.” In the visuals, his girlfriend, Reginae Carter, is the leading lady.
The couple is captured very close in several scenes of the music video. It starts with the two of them in the bathroom cuddled up and at the table in front of food. They both have been showing a lot of love to each other on social media after Lucci threw Reginae’s 22nd birthday party last weekend. Many fans were happy to hear the song and said it was their favorite on the mixtape so far.
