Rapper 2Chainz decided to feed the homeless at his Escobar & Tapas Restaurant, in Atlanta.
This comes days after reports surfaced that the ATL native was going to open his restaurant locations for dine-in services after Governor Kemp gave the go ahead for certain businesses to reopen. 2 Chainz later denied those claims and decided to use his restaurant to feed the homeless.
After feeding the homeless, the staff drove around Metro-Atlanta to different low-income and homeless areas and dropped off meals.
“With the city reopening, we wanted to make sure we focused on who and what’s important to the city of Atlanta, the community, the people,” said Dillard and 2 Chainz in a joint statement.
Besides feeding the homeless, 2Chainz also donated meals to medical workers who were on the frontline.
As previously reported, prominent figures such as T.I. and Killer Mike have expressed their concerns about reopening the state.
