Roommates, Lori Harvey and her Rolls Royce are doing just fine after she outsmarted a man who attempted to steal her car on Wednesday night.
According to TMZ, Lori’s car was parked at an apartment complex in Atlanta, and as she was making her way to the trunk to get some things, a man snuck up and ran to jump in her driver’s seat.
The police report, obtained by TMZ, says Lori actually engaged in a physical struggle with the man, who pushed her away from the vehicle. She then realized she could just walk away with the key fob because the car cannot be put into drive without it–and thats exactly what she did.
As she “nonchalantly” walked away, the police report says a second suspect pulled up in a getaway car, hopped out, and grabbed a red duffel bag from her trunk. Both he and the first perp jumped into their vehicle and sped off.
As of now, authorities are checking surveillance cameras to see if the suspects may have been captured following her to the lot. Authorities said Lori didn’t complain of any injuries and refused medical treatment as well.
Lori’s luck with anything automobile related hasn’t been that great in the past year. As we previously reported, Lori pled not guilty in a hit and run case where she was texting and driving.
Hopefully the police can get to the bottom of this case!
