Nipsey Hussle’s Album ‘Victory Lap’ Is Certified Platinum

Roommates, as we continue to mourn the tragic passing of Nipsey Hussle, we also can continue to celebrate his life as his album ‘Victory Lap’ has officially gone platinum! The news comes just a month before the 2020 Grammys where he has been nominated for for 3 awards including, Best Rap performance, Best Rap Song and Best Rap/Sung performance!

Many people have called ‘Victory Lap’ a classic. After news of his passing hit the internet, his album sales received a huge spike and debuted as high as No. 2 on the Hot Billboard charts. It spent 49 weeks on the charts as well.

Come this March, on the 31st to be precise, it will officially be the 1 year anniversary of Nipsey’s passing. If you’ve been keeping up with Nipsey’s case, the suspect (Eric Holder) who has been indicted by a grand jury for Nipsey Hussle’s murder is still behind bars and awaiting trial.

We continue to celebrate Nipsey’s life, and congratulate his team and family for this amazing accomplishment. Now let’s try to get his album double and triple platinum! The Marathon Continues!
