Roommates, we are praying for Steph Curry who has unfortunately broken his hand during tonight’s Golden State game against the #PhoenixSuns.
According to the New York Post, Steph broke his left hand after driving to the rim and running into Phoenix big man Aron Banes, who was trying to draw a charge in the third quarter. Steph reportedly landed awkwardly on his wrist, with all of his body weight on his hand.
The #Warriors were already having a tough start to the season, and will now fall 1-3. Even before Steph’s injury, it was clear the Warriors did not have the same chemistry as they always did. Draymond Green also suffered an injury early in the game, after taking a hard hit to his lower back.
As of now, it is unclear howling Steph Curry will be out, but it’s safe to say he will be out for an extended period of time.
As of now, the Warrior have a roster full of injuries, with Klay Thompson out for perhaps the entire season recovering from a torn ACL in his left knee. They are also missing one of their big men, Kevin Durant, who is now a Brooklyn Net.
Like any professional athlete, Steph has endured injuries before, but this is the first time he has suffered an injury to his left hand. His list of injuries ranges from ankle sprains to tweaked ankles and hand contusions.
The basketball season has just started and things are not looking good for the Warriors. What do y’all think, Roomies? Do they have a chance of powering through the season, or is has it ended before it even began?
