Listen up #Roommates, it’s time to update those resumes and pull out that trusty interview suit because Delta Airlines is ready to hire a lot of people for available flight attendant positions…a whole lot of people, in fact!
As reported by @wsbtv, Delta Airlines is doing their part to get people to work, as the airline recently announced that they are looking to hire 1,000 people to be flight attendants for the company. Delta is currently hiring crew members for its 2020 class of new flight attendants, who will go through six weeks of training in Atlanta, where the airline is based.
During the training period, Delta will provide new hires “with training pay and some meals,” as well as accommodations for trainees who don’t live in metro Atlanta. The requirements for the position are pretty simple. Applicants must have a high school diploma or GED, be fluent in English and be at least 21 years old by Jan. 1, 2020.
In addition to regular flight attendants, Delta is also on the hunt for bilingual flight attendants who can speak English as well as Czech, Danish, Dutch, French, Greek, German, Italian, Japanese or Korean.
These candidates also should have at least a year of work experience in “personalized customer service, patient care or similar role” and experience “ensuring the safety and/or care of others,” as well as a degree beyond high school, according to Delta.
If you want to apply for the position, you can do so here.
Roommates, will you be applying?
