Paris Hilton and her now ex boo Chris Zylka got engaged earlier this year in Aspen. If you remember, he put a whole MOUNTAIN on that finger! The two were dating for about a year before Chris popped the question, and they have now gone their separate ways.
According to TMZ, Paris realized that Chris wasn’t the one, and that things between them had moved too fast. Because Paris is the one who broke off the engagement, Chris would technically get the ring back under California law. Does that count if the ring was given to her in Aspen though? Asking for how I deal with my future ex-fiance…
Anyhow, although Chris hasn’t flat out asked Paris to return the ring, it’s being reported that he does want it back. With a ring valued at $2 million—who wouldn’t?
The two apparently haven’t seen each other since the split, and Paris addressed the breakup in an IG post with a Marilyn Monroe quote saying:
“I believe that everything happens for a reason. People change so that you can learn to let go. Things go wrong so that you appreciate them when they’re right. You believe lies so you eventually learn to trust no one but yourself. And sometimes good things fall apart so better things can fall together.”
This was Paris’ second engagement, so perhaps the third one will be the charm!
