Tekashi 6ix9ine’s lawyers were able to strike another deal for him in court. This time around it was for his alleged assault of an NYPD officer.
According to TMZ, Tekashi 6ix9ine showed up to court on Wednesday morning in Brooklyn and entered a guilty plea deal to disorderly conduct. In return, prosecutors dropped the misdemeanor assault charge he’d been facing.
Back in May, the rapper was busted by for driving with a suspended license. During his arrest, he allegedly “squeezed an officer’s hand.” When it comes to the disorderly conduct, the judge gave him a conditional discharge.
6ix9ine’s lawyer, Lance Lazzaro told the site the condition is, he has to stay out of trouble for a year, and if not he could face immediate jail time.
Last month, a judge in his child sex case also told him to remain out of trouble, and he was sentenced to four years probation.
Needless to say, the rapper’s team of lawyers definitely know how to make a deal.
