Michael Che served as one of the two hosts for tonight’s Emmy Awards, and he is definitely putting on for the culture.
In between the presentations for this year’s Emmy Awards, Che took some time to present “Reparation Emmys” to some televisions most iconic black actors. He definitely hit the nail on the head when presenting the awards to actors that helped to shape black culture through their iconic roles.
During the segment, Che presented reparation Emmys to Marla Gibbs from “The Jefferson’s,” Jimmy Walker from “Good Times,” Kadeem Hardison from “A Different World,” Jaleel White from “Family Matters,” Tichina Arnold from “Martin” and John Witherspoon from “The Wayans Bros.”
Needless to say, all of these actors and their shows are more than deserving of this honor.
