#TiffanyHaddish is known to bring the laughs and is loved for her down-to-earth personality but recently she got real candid in an interview with #Glamour about an assault that happened to her when she was 17 and how she’s still coping with it today.
She talked about how she has developed defense mechanisms wheeling and dealing in the industry, ones she learned to develop after the assault. Tiffany says a police cadet raped her at 17. “That whole experience put me in such a messed-up place for a long time, and I ended up going to counseling,” she said in the interview.
“I notice that men are afraid of women that are aggressive. So to protect myself I become semi-aggressive,” she added. She also talked about what it’s like to be a role model for underprivileged youth and how she supports her family.
