It’s been some time since we have gotten some new music from Rihanna.
Right now she is killing the game with her Fenty Beauty line, and next, she’s about to take over with her Savage X Fenty lingerie line.
Nonetheless, fans are anticipating for the songstress to drop another album. Recently she reassured fans that new music is on the way, and now more details about her next project have become available.
In her interview with writer Chioma Nnandi for the June issue of Vogue, it was revealed that RiRi plans on working on a reggae album.
Nnandi states, “Though it’s too soon to name a full list of collaborators, one early influence may be Supa Dups, the Jamaican-born record producer who has worked with such dancehall greats as Beenie Man, Sean Paul, and Elephant Man.”
When it comes to her favorite reggae artist, Rihanna named Bob Marley and said, “I’m gonna sound like a real tourist when I tell you my top Bob songs. “Three Little Birds,” “No Woman, No Cry,” and “Redemption Song.”
Roommates, who else is ready to turn up to some new Rihanna music real soon?
