For all my Apple users out there, we have been practically begging for a group video chat for the longest and guess what? We’re still not getting it, but thanks to SnapChat, we can get a little taste of what’s to come if Apple stops playing!
The app has introduced a new group video chat feature where up to 16 people are able to join at a time! If more people want to join then up to 32 people can create a group voice chat.
To use it, you can either enter an existing group chat or start a new group then tap the video icon to start a live group video chat, or tap on the phone icon for a voice call.
Group members will get a notification that they’ve been invited to a chat. When they enter you’ll get a notification that they’ve joined. If you don’t want to use your camera, you can turn it off and just use the voice feature.
Honestly, it’s only a matter of time before this hits Instagram and hopefully our iPhones! Roommates, what do y’all think of this feature?!
