The NFL is about to spice it up next season #Roommates! For the first time in history, an NFL team will have men apart of its official spirit squad.
According to USA Today, Quinton Peron and Napoleon Jinnies, will be joining the Los Angeles Rams squad and will be performing the same routine as the female dancers. There are already men who perform stunts and tricks with the Baltimore Ravens and Indianapolis Colts, but this will be the first time men out are out there pop lockin’ and droppin’ it with the women.
“I thought, ‘Why not me? Why can’t I do this?’ ” Peron said in an interview Wednesday on ABC-TV’s Good Morning America.
These men no doubt earned their spots on the team, competing against 76 finalists for the 40-person squad. Jinnies admits this audition was definitely one for the books!
“This one was about three weeks long and we had a bunch of rehearsals in between and an extensive interview process, but it was really humbling and amazing to be invited every time you came back,” he said.
