Last month it was revealed on WWHL that Xscape has been making new music but without Kandi Burruss.
Kandi revealed she had made the decision to not join them in that venture as she was preparing for Broadway, among a few other things.
Now it has been revealed that Kandi has landed a role in the hit Broadway musical “Chicago.”
According to People, she will be playing the role of Mama Morton and will begin her eight-week run at the beginning of January.
In the meantime, she has been killing it on tour with her group Xscape as they tour the country on their 22-city tour.
Kandi’s RHOA co-star Nene Leakes also enjoyed her fair share on Broadway back in 2014 as she starred in the production of Cinderella as the wicked stepmother.
Congrats to Kandi on her new gig!
