For many of us, tacos and margaritas go hand in hand, right? Well, whenever you eat at #TacoBell, you don’t ever see any tequila or so much as a beer waiting to be purchased. Thankfully, the fast food chain is in the process of making that happen.
Taco Bell chief operating officer Mike Grams says that they are noticing that millennials are moving into more urban areas and they want to be able to provide the kind of experience these people look for when they dine out…which means they want alcohol and they want it now!
The chain has decided to open between 300-350 of what they describe as “cantina-style” or “urban in-line” drive-thru-less locations–at least 50 of which will reportedly be in Manhattan. “The majority of the new “urban in-line” locations will serve beer, wine, sangria, and Twisted Freezes, aka slushies with tequila, rum, or vodka,” PEOPLE reports.
Are y’all here for the switch up?!
