#Roommates, Chance the Rapper loves the kids! On Saturday, August 12, he’ll be giving away 30,000 stuffed backpacks to local kids at the Bud Billiken Parade in Chicago.
Chance’s youth empowerment charity SocialWorks, and State Bags are collaborating on the project for the back to school season.
The Chicago rapper will be the grand marshal at the parade and reportedly also has a surprise announcement related to the backpacks.
The Bud Billiken parade is the second largest
annual parade in the US. It starts on Chicago’s South Side and ends in Washington Park.
