OJ Simpson may be one step closer to freedom as his parole hearing date is confirmed for July 20th.
According to TMZ, a source close to the Nevada Board Of Parole Commissioners says if the hearing runs smoothly, OJ could be looking at a possible release date as early as October 1st, 2017. O.J. will not physically be in attendance for the hearing. Instead, he will be video conferenced in.
As you may recall, Simpson was arrested in 2007 on armed robbery and kidnapping charges. He was sentenced to 33 years in prison and became eligible for parole after serving 9 years.
