The matriarch of the Jackson family, Katherine Jackson, was reportedly granted a temporary restraining order against her nephew Trent Lamar Jackson, by a Los Angeles judge.
According to E News, the court documents allege that Trent, has been accessing Mrs. Jackson’s bank accounts without her approval, and has been using her credit cards for personal purchases, as well as emotionally abusing her.
In the documents, the description of the abuse claims that, “Trent has manipulated Mrs. Jackson so much, and preyed on her known kindness, that whenever the police arrive or efforts to press elder abuse charges have been undertaken, she ultimately recants or changes her mind.”
The paperwork continues to state that Mrs. Jackson, who is 86-years old, does not want to hurt anyone, and that she has notified her children of the allege abuse.
Mrs. Jackson’s legal team spoke on her behalf and said she, “will have moments of strength, and tell her kids that Trent is abusing her, and by the time they get Adult Protections Services to the house, he has convinced her by crying or begging not to report him, and the cycle starts all over.”
Trent Jackson has yet to make any public statements about the incident.
Mrs. Jackson was recently spotted in London with her daughter Rebbie Jackson visiting Janet Jackson and her newborn.
