A few weeks ago, actress Keke Palmer went off on Trey Songz after she claimed he used footage of her from a party in his music video without her permission. While Keke has been very vocal about the situation, she decided to address it once more this morning on the Wendy Williams show.
When Wendy asked her to open up about the beef, she lowkey came for the talkshow host for not being as understanding as she feels she should have been. “I don’t want to keep bra-beating that one situation,” Palmer began, “but I will say, Wendy, I would have loved to turn on your show and saw you be a little bit more compassionate and less accusatory and ridiculing.” Wendy responded by saying, “I couldn’t!” and then Keke asked, “Why?! ‘Cause the gag is, you wasn’t there!”
The audience erupted with laughter, but then Keke went on to explain why she was so upset with the Trey Songz situation. “We’re telling girls that it’s okay to be in weird, awkward and potentially sexually harassing environments and that they should endure it and say nothing about it,” she tells Wendy. “That’s why I said something about it–it happens to me too!”
