A&E has been receiving backlash after word of it’s new docuseries on the KKK was announced. Well, if it lightens up conversation, word on the street is none of the Klan participants received a dime from the show.
A “Generation KKK” production source tells TMZ, that because the show was created as a documentary none of the families involved were paid.
Also, while many thought A&E’s agenda behind the show was to give hatred a platform, we have learned that it may be quite the opposite.
Production sources tell TMZ … the families profiled on the show agreed because they feel they’re misunderstood. They somehow want to convince viewers they are not a racist group but rather a “race preservation group.”
