An Australian man was recently released from jail after a bank error led him to blow a fortune on fast cars, sex and drugs.
According to the NY Post, 29-year-old Luke Moore was lucky enough to receive a $1.3 million fortune after a bank gave him access to unlimited overdraft.
Many people probably would’ve gave some money away to charity or something to show his appreciation but instead Moore bought himself an Aston Martin, a Maserati and a boat. Lets not forget more money brings more women and of course he brought into that also.
But to give him a chance, he did spend some of his cash on his bills and insurance.
Welp it all came to an end when authorities caught up with the bank glitch and charged him with fraud. Luck was on his side again because he was due for a four year jail sentence but got off with only five months.
After being released, he says he is “still readjusting to real life” after returning home to his mother’s house broke.
Moral of the story…. if you get lucky enough to get a million dollar fortune… try not to let the Feds catch you.
