We are days away from the premiere of Michel’le’s biopic, “Surviving Compton: Dre, Suge & Me.” The highly anticipated film will air Saturday on Lifetime. The biopic was made in partnership with Sony Pictures Television and Thinkfactory Media.
Before the films release, Dr. Dre is putting his foot down and letting it be known that he is ready to sue if he appears to be abusive towards women.
According to TMZ, Dr. Dre’s legal team has already sent off a cease and desist letter warning Sony that he will definitely take them to court. In the letter he also denies ever beating Michel’e, and points out that their relationship was many years ago.
Dr. Dre’s character in the film is reportedly abusive towards Michel’le, and can be seen pulling her hair and punching her in the face. However, he points out that she never filed a police report or received any medical attention following the alleged abuse.
Dr. Dre’s team also said they will not only come after Sony, but Michel’le as well.
“Surviving Compton: Dre, Suge & Me,” airs on Lifetime October 15th.
