A Georgia teacher’s aide has found herself out of a job after making racist comments about our current FLOTUS, Michelle Obama.
According to The New York Daily News, Jane Allen, was a teacher’s aide at Chestatee Elementary in Gainesville, GA when she posted controversial comments about Michelle Obama on her personal Facebook profile.
On one status post she talked about Michelle and said, “This poor Gorilla. How is she going to function in the real world, by not having all of her luxurious vacations paid for anymore.”
On another status from August, she posted an article about Michelle being one of the most influential women in the world. Allen responded, “I admire a gorilla more that I admire her. (Wait I forgot, she is a gorilla)!”
Allen must of never learned to watch what you say on social media because it led to her termination from the school.
The school’s district said in a statement, “Effective Monday, Oct. 3, Jane Wood Allen has been relieved from duty and is no longer an employee of Forsyth County Schools. Racism and discrimination are not tolerated in our school district. We are committed to ongoing staff training on the acceptance of all individuals.”
Although her comments have made it’s way around the Internet, Allen’s Facebook page has been removed.
