Since the passing of Prince, many people have been coming up with ways to honor him and keep his legacy alive. Last month it was announced that his Paisley Park estate would be opening up to the public for tours starting this fall.
Now it looks like his ex wife Mayte Garcia will honor his legacy by releasing a memoir on their time together. The 304 page book will be called “The Most Beautiful: My Life With Prince.”
According to Billboard, the book is expected to release on April 14, 2017, which will be the one-year anniversary of his death.
During the books announcement it was described as, “uniquely intimate, candid and revelatory look inside the personal and professional life of one of the world’s most beloved icons.”
Many may remember Mayte from the VH1 hit reality show, Hollywood Exes. Although she didn’t reveal too many details on their marriage, she did share some moments that impacted both of their lives.
Some pivotal moments we can expect to read will include their meeting backstage at a concert, the loss of their infant son, their fairytale wedding and many more moments.
Mayte Garcia and Prince were married from 1996 to 1999.
