Whew! Talk about putting the pressure on! Jhené Aiko recently let Big Sean know his ‘Beware’ lyrics aren’t matching real life. The rapper popped out for his bae’s sold-out show in Los Angeles on Wednesday (July 31).
Jhené invited a few musical guests to vibe out with her fanbase, including B2K, H.E.R., Miguel, and her sister Mila J. But, her man Big Sean closed out the show with a duet of their 2013 collab, ‘Beware,’ which also features Lil Wayne.
Here’s What Jhené Said To Big Sean At Her Los Angeles Tour Stop
However, one circulating 12-second clip shows Sean rapping the first verse to Jhené.
“…’Cause you take anything and just make it everything (God). Kept my phone on silent ever since you got a ring, funny, right? And I never cheated; I mean, maybe once or twice. But one time don’t change everything. She ask why I don’t feel the same…”
As he rapped, Aiko pretended to be mid-argument, throwing dismissive gestures his way. When he got to the lyrics about “got a ring,” the singer looked at her hand, turned to him, and said, “What ring?” into the mic. Holding back a laugh, Big Sean walked over and tapped the same hand Jhené was holding out.

Rapper Speaks On Marriage With Aiko Ahead Of Her Show Shade
After ‘Beware,’ Sean also performed ‘I Don’t F**k With You’ at Jhene Aiko’s request. She mentioned on stage that it’s her “favorite” song from her son’s father.
Speaking of their little one, Charlamagne Tha God released an ‘Outta Context’ sit-down video interview with Sean on Friday (August 2). It’s unclear when the interview took place. However, the rapper discussed fatherhood, mental health issues throughout his career, and breaking generational curses.
As previously reported, Jhené and Sean welcomed their first and only child and son together in November 2022. Speaking to Tha God, the father-of-one revealed that without his toddler, Noah Hasani, he feels like he can’t do anything in life.
“Having a kid for me has been one of the most like scariest things, most beautiful, but scariest in the way like it’s a new territory, new emotions that I didn’t know I could have. The way that I love my son and feel like connected to him in all moments, and consider him, it’s transformed me for the better. It’s a very soft spot. It’s like I can do it without anything, I can’t do it without him.”
Sean added that he thanks God every day for Noah’s “presence…health…and him waking up.” The rapper believes his son is here to “do some great things.”
“I’m definitely raising him out of love,” he shared.
So, what about the woman he’s raising Noah with? On the topic of Big Sean and Jhené Aiko getting married, the rapper admitted that it’s “a little personal.” However, he confirmed that they had not gotten secretly married.
“To be real with you, just like any people who have dealt with love, we’ve had our ups and downs, and I think it’s still finding the right navigation through it all. To me, marriage symbolizes like the best relationship,” Sean said.
He added that people’s reaction to that statement is that he has to get married first. “To me, having a relationship is first and foremost. Marriage is a byproduct of that,” Sean pointed out, highlighting that people get into marriages only to divorce.
“I’m not discounting anything, and I’m not saying we’re not going to get married,” Sean said. “And I don’t like putting our personal business out there, but I feel like there’s a lot of work that needs to be done in general.”
