Police in Florida have reportedly arrested four suspects in connection to the murder of rapper Julio Foolio.
More Details On The Arrest Of The 4 Suspects
According to Action News Jax, law enforcement authorities announced the arrest of three initial suspects in connection to the murder on Monday, July 29. The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office shared a post about the case’s update via X, formerly known as Twitter.
“Your Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office and Tampa Police are announcing the arrests of 3 people in the murder of Charles Andrew Jones II, known as Julio Foolio…” the post reads.
According to authorities, 18-year-old Sean Gathright, 21-year-old Alicia Andrews, and 21-year-old Isaiah Chance Jr. were arrested on Saturday, July 27. The sheriff’s department’s post asserted that the trio had been detained “on murder charges.”
“Saturday afternoon, JSO SWAT, CPR, and Gang Unit members located and arrested Sean Gathright, 18, Alicia Andrews, 21, and Isaiah Chance Jr., 21. They are currently in the Duval County Pre-Trial Detention Center on murder charges, pending transfer to Tampa,” the post asserts. “Detectives continue to thoroughly investigate the case…”

Action News Jax adds that Florida police apprehended a fourth suspect, 30-year-old Rashad Murphy, on Monday, July 29. The sheriff’s office also shared footage of his arrest via X.
Overnight, your Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office and U.S. Marshals Service tracked Rashad Murphy, 30, to an apartment complex off Collins Road.
He was wanted for murder in the Tampa shooting death of Charles Jones, also known as Julio Foolio, last month.

Furthermore, Action News Jax adds that police believe Gathright and Murphy were two of three shooters in the crime, while “Andrews and Chance played a role” in Foolio’s murder.
Police Are Still Searching For 1 Person In Connection To Julio Foolio’s Death
Amid the four arrests, Florida police are reportedly still working to locate and apprehend a fifth suspect named Davion Murphy.
Action News Jax reports that the Tampa Police Department is working alongside the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office and the U.S. Marshal to make the arrest.
Here’s What Reportedly Happened To The Rapper
As The Shade Room previously reported, Julio Foolio was gunned down on June 23 while celebrating his 26th birthday, which occurred two days earlier.
On the night of the shooting, the rapper had reportedly relocated from a club to a Holiday Inn. Surveillance footage since released from the location reportedly shows “multiple masked gunmen zipping around the Tampa Holiday Inn parking lot… firing dozens of rounds into the vehicle carrying Julio.”
According to WFLA, the suspects reportedly targeted Foolio the entire evening. In addition to fatally shooting the rapper, three additional victims were also struck in the ordeal.
