Who got in #Formation this weekend? Chiiile, Beyoncé really was not playing when she said she slays! We all became transfixed by the entertainer’s audacious lyrics as she gave us and Jay-Z a real piece of her mind! Lets not even talk about the “Becky with the good hair!”
Anyway, at the stroke of midnight, Lemonade became available for purchase via iTunes (in addition to Amazon and its stream on Tidal) and many of her fans (plus newly converted #BeyHive members) supported the project enough for it to debut at #1 on iTunes! Should it debut at #1 on Billboard’s 200 Albums Chart, it will be her sixth in a row, setting a new record for the most studio albums to debut at #1. DMX and folk group The Kingston Trio are tied with her at 5 each…for now!
If you want a physical copy of the album, then you’ll have to wait until May 6th, so you better enjoy the free trial on Tidal while you still can! You can stream the movie there and listen to the album at your leisure, but you may as well buy it, because Bey worked her behind off!!
What are some of your favorite songs, Roommates? So far mine are Hold Up, Sorry, Don’t Hurt Yourself and Daddy Lessons!
