Details On The Giant Firework Explosion In Kai’s Room
Cenat titled the video ‘How I Tricked The Internet.’ At the beginning, a clip of the explosion is shown, which was set off by his housemate and fellow streamer, Davis.
As previously reported by The Shade Room, he interrupted Kai’s stream with MrBeast—born James ‘Jimmy’ Donaldson—and began to discuss last year’s “fireworks wars” that damaged his room. Davis was seemingly seeking revenge, stating he would “return the favor.”
He then advises MrBeast to leave, and he quickly exits. Kai and Davis tussle over the large firework box before Davis finally lights it. The pair ran out of the room as the giant fireworks exploded, subsequently setting off a large stack of fireworks in the room. Sparks of fire and smoke appear. Additionally, the loud shrieking of fireworks could be heard before the stream abruptly ended.
Kai Cenat And MrBeast Explain How They Completed The Firework Prank
After the tussle and fireworks go off, it seems as if Kai’s room is destroyed. However, the content creator reveals in his YouTube video that it was all a well-orchestrated prank. A clip of MrBeast explaining that the room was fake appears. His team created a “scale replica” of Kai’s room to destroy for the prank.
“We have replicated my room, and we’re gonna blow it up in front of hundreds of thousands of people,” Kai said.
Jimmy added, “We recreated his room in a field so he could have a ‘firework war’ to start launching stuff, and when it definitely burns down, we’ll prank you guys.”
“Make sure you guys stay tuned. Gotcha,” Kai teased.
MrBeast then said, “And if this ends up backfiring and being a really bad prank, Kai assumes all responsibility.”
The re-video then shows Kai running into a trailer instead of the hallway of his mansion, as viewers initially thought. The streamer ran into the mobile set-up to watch how the explosion appeared on the stream.
He and his team celebrated pulling off the fiery prank, cheering and dabbing each other up. They eventually went outside and saw the fireworks as they shot from the small replica in the middle of the field. The structure eventually caught on fire like viewers assumed Cenat’s house did.
The cost behind such a large-scale prank remains unclear. Watch the behind-the-scenes below.
