And just like that, Kanye West’s Tidal-less fans’ prayers have been answered! The Life of Pablo has become available for streaming on almost all major streaming platforms.
Kanye seemed so sure that he was keeping the album a Tidal-exclusive. That was until news surfaced that “Famous” would be the album’s first single. Soon thereafter “I Love Kanye” popped up on Spotify but then Thursday the album popped up on more seasoned platform like Spotify, Rhapsody, Google Play and even Apple Music.
So let’s look at numbers now: As of March 28th, just a little over a month following the album’s release, TLOP has been streamed 400 million times! Can y’all imagine what’s about to happen to that 400 million now that the album is more accessible?!
Let’s also take into consideration that Kanye already made some edits to the project during its reign on Tidal so who’s to say it’s in its final form? Especially since following his Tidal version update, Def Jam released a statement saying that, “in the months to come, Kanye will release new updates, new versions and new iterations of the album.”
Not only has the album become available to stream, Kanye tweeted that he is offering a digital download of the album for $20 on his shop stop.
Are y’all here for Kanye’s come up?! Let’s chat!
