Beyoncé Shows Off Her Natural Hair & Wash Day Routine
On Monday, April 22, a video was uploaded on the singer’s official Instagram account. In the clip, Queen Bey is seen sitting in a glam chair and, in a voiceover, explains to fans that she wants to show them what her recently released haircare line, Cécred, does for her hair.
The singer shows her wash routine while breaking down the products used and why she loves them.
After her wash routine, the footage shows the singer having her long, blonde tresses combed out, blow-dried and pressed.
“The stigma and misconception is that people that wear wigs don’t have long and healthy hair — that some bulls**t,” Bey playfully told viewers.
From there, the singer went on to explain that she’s been using her haircare line for “so long,” and her hair has never been healthier.
“And I’ve managed to keep my texture and my curls even with my hair so blonde, and my hair is flourishing,” she added.
Before concluding the video, the singer shared some words for her fans who have supported her latest endeavor. Additionally, she explained what she’s most proud of regarding Cécred.

The Singer Recently Opened Up About Her Haircare Routine
As The Shade Room previously reported, Beyoncé recently opened up about her haircare routine in February, days before Cécred was released. At the time, the singer spoke exclusively with ESSENCE about maintaining her hair’s health with protective styles.
“In addition to using the products, I wear my hair pressed, colored, ironed, and natural as much as I wear protective styles, depending on what I’m doing,” she said. “I also use oil for my scalp underneath the braids.”
Additionally, the singer shared her nighttime hair routine.
“It’s all about moisture for me—adding oil to my scalp and covering my hair at night so the oils could penetrate,” she explained. “It brings back such great memories of my rituals as a child to maintain a healthy scalp. I wrap my hair up and sometimes sleep in some cute rollers with a net or bonnet, depending on how I am wearing my hair. I try to avoid friction, my hair reverting, and using unnecessary heat.”
