This past Thursday, Youtube’s Privacy Lead, Amanda Conway, has announced that the blur tool that a lot of YouTube users took advantage of when it originally came out in 2012 as now been enhanced.
Before, users could only blur out the faces in their videos, but now, users have the ability to blur out just about anything they want.
“Even then [when the blur tool was first introduced in 2012] we knew we still had work to do: you didn’t just want to blur faces—you wanted to blur literally anything in your video.”
The new feature can be accessed through the enhancements tab under blurring effects. This “innovative” tool is being considered a game changer for users all over the world. Not only will it provide mystery
