Here’s What North Said In Her First On-Camera Interview
According to Entertainment Tonight, North West popped out at Rolling Loud California on Friday, March 15. The ten-year-old reportedly spoke with 13-year-old interviewer Jazlyn of ‘Jazzy’s World TV‘ during the event’s livestream.
The tween’s on-camera link-up began with Jazzy asking West how it feels to be coming out with a project. Additionally, Jazzy asked West what fans could expect from the album and when it would be released.
“It’s gonna be great!” West replied.
Jazlyn then asked the ten-year-old again for the album’s release date.
“When’s it gonna drop?” she added.
However, West remained completely transparent with her answer.
“I don’t know,” she replied.
Jazzy then asked West if there would be more collaborations between her and her father on the project. Again, West kept things pretty candid with her response.
“Maybe! We don’t know yet!” she said, throwing her hands in the air.
Jazlyn ended the interview by thanking West for her “mysterious” vibes.
The 10-Year-Old Recently Gagged Fans With Her Album Announcement
As The Shade Room previously reported, West revealed her upcoming debut project last week. The ten-year-old made the announcement while performing alongside her father in Phoenix, Arizona.
“I’ve been working on an album…” she told the crowd. “…called ‘Elementary School Dropout.'”
The project appears to be a nod to her father Ye’s 2004 hit album, ‘College Dropout.’
Justin LaBoy Recently Spoke On North West’s Forthcoming Project
Days after West’s announcement, Ye’s close friend Justin LaBoy spoke with TMZ and shared that West’s debut project will be a “classic.”
“That album is gon’ be a classic, man. North’s a star,” he said.
Additionally, LaBoy revealed that Ye is putting “all chips” behind his daughter’s talents.
“Ye is putting everything — all chips in on her,” he said. “So production, best engineers, so I think she’s got it. Plus, she just naturally loves it.”
Lastly, LaBoy revealed that West is racking up on her studio time and recording “ten freestyles a day.”
One thing’s for sure — North West definitely has the world on its toes as she prepares to make her music debut.
