Porsha Williams Reportedly Files For Divorce
According to PEOPLE, Williams filed for divorce from Guobadia on Thursday, February 22. The filing was reportedly made in Atlanta, Georgia.
A source reportedly spoke with the outlet and informed the publication the couple’s split is due to an “ongoing matter.”
At this time, Williams nor Guobadia have publicly responded to the reported news. Additionally, both of their social media profiles feature joint photos of the pair.

As The Shade Room previously reported, Williams shared a long-awaited announcement on February 13, 2024. At the time, she revealed that she would be returning to ‘RHOA.’
Additionally, within her announcement, Williams told fans to put some respect on her name and emphasized that she’d be returning as Porsha Williams Guobadia. Not as Porsha Williams.
“Who said that? ‘Porsha Williams coming back to Real Housewives of Atlanta?’ That’s false,” she said in the clip. “But Porsha Guobadia is in the building — see ya!”

Then, earlier this week, news surfaced regarding Simon Guobadia’s request for U.S. citizenship. According to documents obtained by The Shade Room, an Atlanta court granted a motion to the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services to dismiss Guobadia’s request to vacate his denial of citizenship.
According to PEOPLE, the couple’s pending divorce allegedly is “unrelated” to Guobadia’s denial of citizenship. Additionally, shortly after the update was reported, Guobadia took to social media in what appeared to be good spirits.
