Drake said he was looking for revenge this upcoming summer and we may soon find out some of the plans he has in store. Word on the street is Drake and J. Cole will be hitting the road together, and the announcement is expected to come later this week.
This morning Ebro Darden from Hot 97 mentioned the rumor during a discussion about Drake and his latest released track, “Summer Sixteen.” He said, “Word is, there’s a rumor that I heard, that there’s gonna be an announcement this week of a Drake and J. Cole summer tour.”
And this rumored tour just may be the highlight of the summer, with Drake’s highly anticipated album “Views From The 6” scheduled to release in April. Meanwhile, J. Cole is still riding high off of the success of his Grammy-nominated album “2014 Forest Hills Drive,” which was also turned into a tour during this past summer.
If you guys caught his HBO Special, then you know that he also brought Drake out to his hometown of Fayetteville, NC. He recently released the “Forest Hills Drive: Live” album, and is rumored to have new material coming our way pretty soon.
