Here’s What The 24-Year-Old Initially Shared
As The Shade Room previously reported, Broadus revealed what happened to her from her hospital bed on Thursday. At the time, she explained that she experienced a “severe stroke” earlier that morning.
Additionally, she shared that she broke down crying after learning the news.
Furthermore, Broadus remarked that she’s only 24 years old and doesn’t know what she did “to deserve all of this.”
Cori Broadus’ Family Has Yet To Speak On The Matter Publicly
Snoop Dogg and Broadus’ mother, Shante, have yet to comment on their daughter’s medical emergency publicly. However, the 24-year-old’s fiance, Wayne Deuce, took to social media on Thursday to share multiple photos with Broadus, per The Shade Room.
In the captions of the pictures, he referred to her as his “rider” and the “strongest person” he knows.
To note, Broadus is also fighting a battle with stage three lupus. According to the National Institutes of Health, the illness occurs when the immune system, which is made to protect the body from infections, attacks itself.
Last year, Broadus revealed that she underwent a kidney biopsy, which showed that her lupus progressed to stage three out of five. At the time, she noted that stage three was mild. However, she did share that she needed to be consistent with checking her blood pressure regularly.
