The days of heading out to the grocery store may soon be over. MasterCard and Samsung have just revealed a new smart fridge that does the job for you!
The smart fridge is only available in the tri-state NYC area so far and works with local grocers. The fridge works off of the MasterCard Shopping app, which is also integrated with MyWebGrocer.
Although MasterCard is behind this, you don’t need to use a MasterCard for purchases. You can use Visa, Amex, Discover or any other credit or debit card.
The high tech gadget has a 21.5 inch screen that has three cameras inside, taking images whenever the fridge door closes. It also has a function that can check your levels of milk! Not only that, you can listen to your favorite jams through its built in speaker! I know I would never want to leave the kitchen lol.
The cool doesn’t end there. It can display photos, the weather, YouTube videos, calendars and notes. It’s definitely a one stop shop and will keep the whole family in the kitchen!
The price of the smart fridge is said to be $5000.
