The ‘Post to Be’ singer, let us know how it was actually ‘post to be’ when he sat down in a recent interview with Hollywood Unlocked’s Jason Lee. There, he confirmed there was a lil’ something between him and Karrueche before she ultimately (and famously) became Chris Brown’s then girlfriend.
What Went Down In The Clip
In the clip, Jason Lee reveals he’s attempted to play matchmaker for Omarion many times. But the gag was one of the girls he tried to hook him up with in the past, was Karrueche. In the clip, Omarion confirms that there was a gathering where Jason thought they both were “feeling each other.” So much so, he thought they were going to be “a thing.”
Though Omarion confirmed and agreed, he was tight-lipped about seeing Chris and Karrueche together shortly after. Being the Unbothered King that he is, he stuck to his mantra. Closing out the clip with “C’mon now, ya got to be unbothered!”

WELP! We all know when it comes to being unbothered, Omarion is tried and true. There have been a few instances that have prompted the internet to wonder if he’s going to keep that unbothered energy, but none more publicized than Fizz dating the mother of his children.

If you remember, his former B2K bandmate, Lil Fizz, infamously dated Omarion’s ex, and mother of his children, Apryl Jones. Sparking a huge online debate about love, loyalty and friendship. So much so, during a stop on the Millennium Tour back in 2021, Fizz ultimately apologized to Omarion for how he handled that situation.
Thankfully, all parties involved seem to have moved on amicably. And the revelation of what could have been with Karrueche, was laughed off as no more than a moment in time.
