Are you ready #Balmainarmy? The infamous collaboration between The Swedish fashion label and high-end designer label, are prepared to take the runway by storm for their upcoming launch in November.
Last week H&M debuted the lookbook for their collaboration with designer, Olivier Rousteing. The word is out and social media is talking about the new collection that awaits us at H&M stores.
But wait, don’t expect to spend under $20 for your outfits. We’re talking Balmain, a high-end designer label, ranging from thousands of dollars for just a double-breasted blazer jacket. The two designer labels have brought a more reasonable price-range, starting from $29 up to $649 spending limit for a high-quality look of your choice.
Rousteing has already began hash tagging #HMBalmaination to jumpstart their highly anticipated collab. “For me, it was important to approach everything about this collaboration the same as if it were for Balmain, Rousting said. “If the label says Balmain, it has to have the same richness, the same attitude, the same positivity and energy.”
Rousteing definetly approached the look for his collection with H&M very well, having a diversified image with international models promoting his brand like, Kendall Jenner, Jourdan Dunn and Gigi Hadid.
With them involved as the brand ambassadors for the campaign, H&M and Roustieng are able to reach the young and modern audience of the millennials out there. The clothes are filled with expressive detailing, structure, and culture through the color palettes representation.
The campaign video for the collaboration has been released showing Kendall Jenner dancing while still being fierce in her #HMBalmaination suit.
The launch party/runway show for the collection will kickoff tonight at 7:30pm EST. The collection contains 69 Women’s pieces and 40 men’s pieces.
“The most important thing, of course, is to have a designer who is really burning to do this. Who gives it all [his or her] energy,” Donald Schneider, H&M’s Creative Consultant.
The collection will actually be available in select H&M locations on November 5, 2015. So get ready, because every year it’s a madhouse when something like this goes off!
