Brady Quickly Revealed The Retirement Decision To Watching Fans
In the video, Brady got straight to the point with his message.
Good morning guys, I’ll get to the point right away… I’m retiring. For good.
Brady acknowledged his prior retirement announcement, which took place exactly a year ago on February 1, 2022, and went on to explain that this time, he wanted to inform his fans first.
I know the process was a pretty big deal last time, so when I woke up this morning, I figured I’d just press record and let you guys know first. I won’t be longwinded. You only get one super emotional retirement essay, and I used mine up last year, so really thank you guys so much to every single one of you for supporting me.
Brady went on to thank his family, friends, teammates, and competitors for allowing him to live his “absolute dream.” The 45-year-old added that he
“wouldn’t change a thing.”

More About Brady’s Previous Retirement Announcement & Divorce
As The Shade Room previously reported, Brady and Gisele Bündchen finalized their divorce last year. Many speculated that Brady’s focus on his career, and decision to continue in the NFL, contributed to the marriage’s downfall.
Bündchen shared a statement after the divorce was finalized.
The decision to end a marriage is never easy but we have grown apart and while it is, of course, difficult to go through something like this, I feel blessed for the time we had together and only wish the best for Tom always.
Brady announced his first retirement from the NFL back on February 1, 2022.
As I look back on my career in football, the memories we have made, and the relationships we have built are by far the most meaningful. Yes, the scoreboard was important, but the toughest times always taught me the most important lessons. I am grateful to the people that stood with me through every high and low, win and loss, and the memories we created TOGETHER. Memories that won’t ever fade.
However, he returned to the game just a short time later, as reported by The Shade Room.
These past two months I have realized my place is still on the field and not in the stands. That time will come. But it’s not now. I love my teammates, and I love my supportive family. Without them, none of this is possible. I’m coming back for my 23rd season in Tampa. We have unfinished business.
Roommates, do you think Brady is truly done with the game?
