Imagine you are in an extreme life or death emergency and you call 911 in hopes of them coming to your rescue but instead get hung up on. Well, that’s sadly what happened to an Albuquerque New Mexico teen.
911 dispatcher Matthew Sanchez, decided to hang up the phone on a woman who called to save 17-year old Jaydon Chavez last month on June 26th.
Chavez was at a party when he got shot and when the woman called hysterical she used cuss words in her panic.
The foul language clearly didn’t sit well with Sanchez who showed no sympathy and said “Ok you know what, ma’am? You can deal with it yourself, I’m not going to deal with this, OK?” Before dropping the line.
In this tragic case Chavez didn’t make it.
Sanchez has resigned and is currently under investigation.
