#Roommates, we know this story has many different pieces but it looks like things are finally starting to make some type of sense! The attorney for the family of Kenneka Jenkins said Friday that they haven’t received any video footage from police that shows her walking into the freezer, according to the Chicago Tribune.
“Despite requests for all evidence, we have received only snippets of video, none of which shows Kenneka Jenkins walking into a freezer,” Larry Rogers Jr. said in a statement. “Serious questions remain as to how she ended up in a Crowne Plaza Hotel freezer and why it took a day and a half for the hotel to find Kenneka.”
Now if y’all remember, yesterday Chicago activist Andrew Holmes came out and said that he saw the surveillance video and it showed Jenkins walking into the freezer.
The family released a statement and called Andrew out but he’s sticking by what he said.
“My point was — and I’m going to stand by it — I didn’t see anyone downstairs behind her,” he said. “I didn’t see anyone in front of her. I didn’t see anyone trying to force her back there. That’s my point and I’ll stick to it.”
