Apparently, Justin Bieber isn’t “The One” in China because the New York Times reports that he’s been banned from performing in the country due to his “bad behavior” in the past.
Like the time in 2013 when he had his bodyguards carry him up the Great Wall of China. He also caused pandemonium on that same trip when he went skateboarding in the streets of Beijing as his security chased him.
In a statement released earlier this week, the Beijing Municipal Bureau of Culture said, “Justin Bieber is a gifted singer, but he is also a controversial young foreign singer.”
The statement continued, “In order to maintain order in the Chinese market and purify the Chinese performance environment, it is not suitable to bring in badly behaved entertainers. We hope that as Justin Bieber matures, he can continue to improve his own words and actions, and truly become a singer beloved by the public.”
What do you think roomies? Is The Bureau overreacting?
