Roommates, the 2017 Billboard Music Awards went down last night (May 22) in Las Vegas and we’ve rounded up a few of the worst looks that were spotted on the T-Mobile Magenta Carpet.
First up is African singer Dencia, who is no stranger to the Worst Dressed list. This time, she wore a sheer black jumpsuit with yellow origami details and matching headpiece. As one Snapchat user put it, “when u have the BBMAs at 5 but a Transformers audition at 6.“
Rita Ora’s intergalactic Francesco Scognamiglio dress got mixed reviews but let’s just be honest, this entire look Issa No!
We love John Legend, we just can’t say the same for his Gucci suit and loafers. Everything is definitely NOT Gucci with this look, especially those massive buttons. And the jury is still out on whether Jason Derulo’s green velvet Dolce & Gabbana jacket is tacky or a hot mess, or both.
Meanwhile, singer Halsey turned heads for all the wrong reasons in a white Sergio Hudson latex bra, high-waisted Juun J skirt and over-the-knee Monika Chaing “Kora” rope lace-up gladiator sandals.
Newcomer Julia Michaels totally missed the mark in a pink vintage floral print Kimono that was way too long for the 5’5″ singer. Not to mention, the color practically matched her skin tone.
Empire’s Jussie Smollett looked like he was dressed for an entirely different event and singer Z LaLa’s Cruella de Vil-inspired cutout latex dress should be self explanatory.
