Former “19 Kids and Counting” star Josh Duggar was publicly shamed after it was revealed that he had molested his younger sisters but ironically it has been reported that Josh’s sisters are now suing their city as well as police officials and In Touch Magazine for revealing the hideous secret.
According to TMZ, Jill, Jessa, Jinger and Joy are suing the city of Springdale, Arkansas after they claim the investigation of their brother was never supposed to see the light of day.
Apparently, the sisters spoke with authorities back in 2006 about the alleged sexual assault but because they were minors they were promised that the documents would be sealed and only be shared with law enforcement and child protection services.
In Touch mag is also under fire because the lawsuit accuses them of publishing at least 8 stories about the investigation. The sisters site that according to Arkansas law, the release of information in connection to sexual aVýse involving children is illegal.
The Duggars claim they are suing only because they are trying to protect their children seeing how they were publicly ridiculed for Josh’s actions and their show was also canceled because of the allegations.
