It has been reported that Nate Dogg’s son Naijiel Hale was one of the two Montana State football players arrested in an undercover drug sting.
According to the Bozeman Daily Chronicle, a confidential informant working with the Missouri River Drug Task Force had set up a drug deal with Hale to buy Xanax back in February. Hale decided to make a last minute change of plans and had the informant meet with up his teammate Darren Gardenhire. Darren, who was considered to be a “brother” to Hale, ended up snitching on and telling authorities that the rapper’s son was the one selling drugs on campus.
Hale was pinched for another deal where an informant had bought Xanax pills from someone at his house while Hale was home. He was eventually charged with two counts of felony distribution of dangerous drugs and one count of misdemeanor possession and is being held on $25,000 bail. The felonies alone carry a maximum sentence of life in prison.
