Recently the cast of “Power,” wrapped up shooting for season four, and fans are anticipating the official premiere date.
However, the future for the show may gobeyond just being a one-hour television show.
According to Page Six, Rotimi Akinosho, who stars as Dre on the show, reportedly revealed that adapting the show into a film could definitely be a possibility.
He reportedly said, “Yes, we are working on it. There is a strong possibility that it is happening. He continued, “Fifty talks about it all the time.”
If you’re wondering what the storyline could possibly be about within the film, Akinosho reportedly added, “a flashback of all the characters when they were young.”
We all know how passionate 50 Cent is about this show, and he’s even expressed his disappointment on the show being overlooked when it comes to winning awards.
Recently the show’s runner, Courtney Kemp revealed that she and 50 Cent even faked their beef last summer over his penis being seen during one of the episodes.
Nonetheless, this series is definitely an all time favorite.
