Donald Trump’s second version of his travel ban was set to go in effect on Thursday, until it was blocked by a federal judge in Hawaii!
According to NBC, U.S. District Judge Derrick Watson said Hawaii would suffer from Trump’s travel ban because it would “block the flow of students and tourists to the state, and concluded that Hawaii was likely to succeed on a claim that the ban violates First Amendment protections against religious discrimination. The ruling has a nationwide impact.”
Now #Roommates y’all already know Donnie had a few words about this.
“Let me tell you something: I think we ought to go back to the first one!” Trump said at his campaign-style rally in Nashville.
“This ruling makes us look weak which by the way, we no longer are,” he said.
Trump continued,
“The law and Constitution give the president the power to suspend immigration when he deems – or she, or she. Fortunately, it will not be Hillary. The need for my executive order was clear. I was elected to change our broken and dangerous system and thinking in government that has weakened and endangered our country and left people defenseless.”
Trump promised to take this to the Supreme Court! Thoughts Roommates?
