On February 1st, Beyoncé shut the internet down after announcing the birth of her twins. As exciting as the news was, many of her fans became perplexed by the singer’s decision to honor her headlining Coachella performance. Was she going to be dancing? How would she be able to give us her best at that stage in her pregnancy? Well, Thursday afternoon, it became official that she wouldn’t be doing any of that at all.
The Lemonade singer has dropped out of the festival on doctors orders.
“Following the advice of her doctors to keep a less rigorous schedule in the coming months, Beyoncé has made the decision to forgo performing at the 2017 Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival,” Beyoncé’s Parkwood Entertainment and festival producer, Goldenvoice said in a statement. “However, Goldenvoice and Parkwood are pleased to confirm that she will be a headliner at the 2018 festival. Thank you for your understanding.”
Y’all remember when Bey had Blue Ivy and then did the Super Bowl the following year, right?! This should be epic. I’ll be waiting!!
